Cotgrave Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who has high expectations and high standards and is committed to ensuring that each child has the opportunity to reach their highest potential. The successful applicant will join our very supportive team of staff. Experienced teachers as well as inspirational Early Career Teachers with the relevant training experience are welcome to apply. The successful applicant will initially work in a mixed Year 1/Year 2 class. The fixed term contract is related to the change in structure brought about by the appointment of a new Head Teacher for September 2024.

We wish to appoint a permanent Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, talented and enthusiastic team of staff. We are looking for a member of staff to combine classroom support with class cover. The initial working pattern will be that, in the mornings, they will support children in classes whenever overall class cover is not required, working with Class Teachers, to reach high standards of learning and achievement. The initial afternoon role will be to provide class cover for the provision of PPA/release time for teaching staff across the school. Part of the role will also be to provide short-term cover for absence of other staff. The successful candidate must be qualified to at least NVQ3 or equivalent and it is desirable that their qualification is recognised as a ‘full and relevant’ Early Years qualification. We are looking for a well-motivated Teaching Assistant who is confident in supporting and challenging children in all stages of their primary education.
