As a school we began to hold Community Lunches in the Autumn Term 2009. The aim throughout has been to provide a reasonably-priced roast dinner for members of the local community - giving an opportunity for local people to engage with school and enjoy fellowship around the meal table; to give the children in Year 5 and 6 the opportunity to serve the lunches and engage with the guests; to support the school kitchen through providing additional meals.
Community lunches are currently held once every month (on the third Wednesday in the month) at 12.45pm. We need to know who will be attending by the Wednesday prior to the lunch. Places can be booked through the school office. Dates for the year are set out on the calendar link below the contact form.
