It's really important that you keep up with your sounds flashcards, can you look at them daily. What sound do they make? What words can I make with them?
Please don't forget that RWI are showing daily phonics lessons, I recommend that the children watch these daily to introduce knew sounds. We were about to move onto Set 3 sounds but you could always repeat Set 2 speed sounds. Find the Youtube Channel here.
Log into the Oxford Owl website to read a selection of books. There are some free ones on the Kindle app too.

Phonics Bloom is a website we use regularly to support our sounds practice and blending.
Twinkl is another great website with lots of free content for parents. The activities could easily be adapted for writing in your Home Learning book if you are unable to print off any worksheets.
Red Words/Tricky Words
It's really important that the children review their 'red word' cards as often as possible. These words are only going to be learnt by sight. We use Mr Mc's 'Super Power' words to help introduce them. The children love these videos! They can be watched over and over again!
Below is a link to Super Power Word 1, just click on his Youtube channel to see all the Super Power words.
