It's really important that you keep up with your sounds flashcards, can you look at them daily, think of words that may contain them and then put them into sentences.  Can you spot 'special friends' in your books at home. How many can you find? Do you know what they all mean?


Log into the Oxford Owl website to read a selection of books. There are some free ones on the Kindle app too.


Phonics Play has free content at the moment so lots of Phase 5 and Phase 6 phonics games to play.

Twinkl is another great website with lots of free content for parents. The activities could easily be adapted for writing in your Home Learning book if you are unable to print off any worksheets. 


Try and read as much as you can, even if it's sharing books with your parents see how much you can read yourself!
