Maths

White Rose Maths

 

Below you will find the links to the first two weeks Maths lessons. 

Children will need to watch a short video clip each lesson to introduce the learning. Then there will be a worksheet to download. If the worksheet cannot be printed then you can write the answers in your Home Learning book.

Remember to:

  • give your work a date and a title e.g 20.04.20 Lesson 1 - Introduce weight and mass.
  • complete all your work in pencil
  • check that your numbers are correctly formed

 

WEEK 1

The website link here will take you to the page below - make sure that you click on 'Week 1' for week beginning 20.04.20 - Introduce weight and mass. There are 5 lessons to complete in this week, each lessons has an introduction video and then a 'Get Activity' worksheet to follow up.

 

NO WORK TO BE SENT TO CLASS EMAIL THIS WEEK

 

 

WEEK 2

For week  beginning 27.04.20  use 'Week 2' which starts with 'Compare capacity'. This week you have 5 lessons again and 5 follow up activities. 

 

This week please send evidence to the Class 4 email for LESSON 5 this needs to be evidence of the video activity and the follow up. This is the first introduction to arrays for the children so they will need some support. 

 

 

WEEK 3 

For week  beginning 4.05.20  use 'Summer Term - Week 1' which starts with 'Making Doubles'. This week you have 5 lessons again and 5 follow up activities. 

 

NO WORK TO BE SENT THIS WEEK FOR MATHS 

 

 

WEEK 4

For week  beginning 11.05.20  use 'Summer Term Week 2' which starts with 'Find a half (2)'. This week you have 5 lessons again and 5 follow up activities. 

 

This week please send evidence to the Class 4 email for LESSON 4 this needs to be evidence of the video activity and the follow up. This is a problem solving activity. The children may need support to read the question. 

 

 

 

WEEK 5

For week  beginning 18.05.20  use 'Summer Term Week 3' which starts with 'Part-whole relationships number bonds'. This week you have 5 lessons again and 5 follow up activities. 

 

This week you do not need to send evidence to the class email address.
